National Road Historical Marker Dedication

On Wednesday, July 4, there will be an unveiling of an Ohio Historical Marker commemorating the 193rd anniversary of groundbreaking for the Historical National Road in St. Clairsville, OH., Belmont County. Speakers will include Doug Smith, co-author of “A Traveler’s Guide to the Historic National Road in Ohio” and Glenn Harper, founder of the Ohio National Road Association and co-author of “A Traveler’s Guide to the Historic National Road in Ohio” The Belmont County Sheriff's Residence Museum will be open for a short time immediately after the event.
